There is no signup, no newsletter, and no analytics cookie on this site. Here is exactly what does and does not happen.
01What we collect
CrowFinds does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number. There is no account system, no login, and no newsletter signup form.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested: the page URL, the time, your browser's user agent string, and the IP address the request came from. These logs exist for security and debugging.
02Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. Google sets its own cookies for that, and IP addresses are anonymised before Google receives them. We set no advertising cookies and run no retargeting pixels of our own. Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's privacy policy, and you can opt out with Google's official browser add-on.
Third parties may set their own cookies once you leave this site. In particular, when you click through to Amazon, Amazon uses a cookie to attribute the visit to our affiliate tag. That cookie is set by Amazon, governed by Amazon's privacy notice, and typically lasts 24 hours. We never see its contents.
03Fonts and external requests
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Product images are served from Amazon's image CDN, so Amazon likewise sees a request when a page loads.
Neither of those requests carries any identifier that we created, because we do not create one.
04What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or share data with anyone. We do not build advertising profiles, run retargeting pixels, or embed social media trackers.
We cannot identify you personally from anything this site collects.
05Telegram channels
Our Telegram channels are one-way broadcast channels. Members cannot post, cannot see each other, and channel administrators cannot see member phone numbers or send members private messages.
If you message our contact bot directly, we see your Telegram display name, your username if you have one, your numeric Telegram user ID, and the message text. We use that only to reply. Your phone number is never visible to us.
Telegram's own handling of your data is governed by Telegram's privacy policy, not ours.
06Pinterest
We publish our own deal pins to a Pinterest business account that we own. To do that, the site connects to the Pinterest API using Pinterest's official OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. No Pinterest password, login form, or session cookie is ever collected by us, and we never ask a visitor to sign in to Pinterest through this site.
The connection stores one access token and one refresh token for our own account. They are kept on our server, used only to create boards and pins that link back to pages on this site, and can be revoked at any time from Pinterest's own settings. We request only the permissions needed to publish pins: boards read and write, pins read and write, and basic account information.
We do not read, store, or process any Pinterest data belonging to visitors, followers, or other Pinterest users. We do not warehouse Pinterest API data - pin and board details are fetched from Pinterest when needed rather than copied into our database.
If you interact with our pins on Pinterest, that activity happens on Pinterest and is governed by Pinterest's privacy policy, not ours.
07Children
This site is intended for adults shopping on Amazon and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
08Your choices
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to request, export, or delete. If you contact us on Telegram and later want that conversation removed from our end, ask and we will delete it.
