Sort by most recent and look at what people say about durability rather than the unboxing. In these categories, suppliers often change between production runs while the listing photos stay identical, so a year-old five-star average may describe a different product than the one shipping now.

The items that survive the hype cycle tend to be simple: storage that fits an awkward space, a tool that removes a daily annoyance, or a genuine upgrade to something already in use. Anything with a motor and a low price is where the failure rate concentrates.

04What a discount percentage actually means

The percentage you see is calculated against a list price that the seller sets. It is not independently audited. A seller can set a high list price, sell at the real price, and show a permanent discount that never actually changes.
